Voice-Over Services

The Voice Behind the Brand, Not Just Behind the Mic

A script can be perfectly written and still fall flat if the voice delivering it doesn't match the brand — wrong tone, wrong pacing, wrong accent for the audience it's meant to reach. DO Media provides professional voice-over services for clients across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC, casting and directing voice talent the same way we'd approach any other brand touchpoint: matched to strategy, not chosen by convenience.

We work in both Arabic (including Gulf, Levantine, and Modern Standard Arabic variants) and English, for everything from broadcast commercials and explainer videos to IVR systems and in-app audio.

Our Approach

Casting matched to audience, not just language. A Gulf Arabic voice and a Levantine Arabic voice land differently with a Saudi audience versus a Jordanian one — we cast for the specific dialect and tone that fits the market a piece of content is built for, not just "an Arabic voice."

Direction, not just recording. Voice sessions are directed for pacing, emphasis, and emotional tone against the brief, rather than recorded as a single unguided take and accepted as final.

Integrated with the content it supports. Voice-over is planned alongside the video, ad, or content it will accompany — timing, tone, and pacing are matched to the visual or written piece it's paired with.

Our Process

Brief & Casting. We review the script, target audience, and market, then present a shortlist of voice talent matched to tone, language, and dialect.

Direction & Recording. Sessions are directed live against the brief, with pacing and emphasis adjusted in real time rather than fixed only in editing.

Editing & Mixing. Final audio is cleaned, mixed, and leveled for its intended platform — broadcast, digital, or in-app.

Delivery. Files are delivered in the format needed for integration into video, ad, or app production, timed to the visual or system it accompanies.

Where We See Voice-Over Projects Fail

One "Arabic voice" used for every GCC market. Gulf Arabic and Levantine Arabic carry genuinely different tone and association for a Saudi listener versus a Jordanian one — using an undifferentiated "Arabic voice" across every market misses this distinction entirely, even when the script itself is identical.

Recording without direction. A single unguided take, accepted as final because it technically matches the script, frequently misses the emphasis and pacing the brief actually needed. Directed sessions, adjusted in real time, consistently outperform unsupervised recordings.

Voice-over as a late addition to an already-locked edit. Bringing in a voice recording after a video edit is finished can force pacing compromises that a properly planned production would have avoided. Voice-over is planned alongside the script and edit timeline from the start.

Audio quality treated as secondary to the voice performance. A great read, poorly mixed or inconsistently leveled against background music, still sounds unprofessional. Editing and mixing are a standard part of every voice-over delivery, not an optional add-on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — we cast Gulf Arabic, Levantine Arabic, and Modern Standard Arabic separately depending on which market a piece of content is built for, rather than using one Arabic voice across every market.
