Where We See Website Projects Fail
Design approved before the sitemap is right. When visual design starts before information architecture is settled, projects end up redesigning pages mid-build to accommodate content or flows that should have been mapped from the start. We lock the sitemap and user flows before any screen is designed.
SEO treated as a post-launch fix. Sites regularly launch with broken canonical tags, missing schema, and unoptimized page speed, then need a remediation project within months — DO Media's own SEO audit work has uncovered exactly this pattern on multiple client sites. Building the technical foundation in during development avoids paying for the same work twice.
RTL Arabic added as an afterthought. Mirroring an English layout for Arabic rarely produces a genuinely usable right-to-left experience — navigation logic, icon direction, and reading flow all need to be designed for RTL specifically, not flipped automatically at the end of a project.
No plan for who updates the site after launch. A beautiful site that requires a developer for every content change quickly falls behind. CMS structure and training are part of our handoff, not an assumption that your team will figure it out.
